With the Project we helped from 2011 to 2013 to prepare women in displacement situation to join the professional workforce through a 13-week program, structured as follows:
As of 2013, the Project focused on subsidizing 100% of the transportation of displaced women in vulnerable situations for up to 3 consecutive months, thus hoping to contribute to the stabilization of their living conditions. |
BEP was founded in October 2011 after we identified the need to help women in a situation of displacement to prepare for and access jobs in the formal sector. So far we have supported more than 60 women since our foundation.
We leverage support and create training opportunities with local employers who contribute by employing the beneficiaries in their companies, for a period of 13 weeks. In our current program "Transportation Support", our participants receive the necessary to transport their jobs to homes, for a full month, regardless of whether they need 2 or more transports a day. |
